Monopoly is one of the most famous board games in the world. There are various editions now but I still prefer the original London board. Mclaggan Smith has produced a range of fab Monopoly mugs, which are perfect for any fans of the game.

Personalised X Factor Mug

So, Leon has won the X Factor. Personally I was rooting for Rhydian because he seemed in a different league to everyone for the entire series, but the public has had their say and the charismastic Scot has won the day. The series may be over but if you haven’t yet had your fill of the X Factor, check out this selection of X Factor mugs from Getting Personal.

The official X Factor mug (not personalised) (£5.95)

“Have you got what it takes?” Personalised X Factor mug. (£9.95)

Hold Biscuits and Tea with Dunk Mug from Firebox

December 2, 2007 on 11:52 am | By admin | In Cool, White | No Comments

The mug is a fairly basic driving vessel. It has a handle. You pour tea in it. You drink tea. Not really much room for innovation one might think. But then someone came along and invented the Dunk Mug. It holds you tea like normal, below that is a compartment where you slide in a couple of biscuits. Who knew that the good old fashioned mug was cabale of this kind of reinvention? One can only wonder what the future holds for the mug.

Get yours now from Firebox for £14.95.

Use the force with a Darth Vader Mug

October 9, 2007 on 10:31 am | By admin | In Black, Cool, Culture, Novelty | No Comments

The force is strong with this one. It’s a cool Darth Vader mug, available from Play.com for around £5. Darth Vader is one of the greatest “baddies” to ever grace the big screen, and now you can celebrate the black caped one with this mug in the shape of Darth Vader’s head. If you love Star Wars, this mug is perfect for you. Some of the reviews I have read suggest that chipping is likely in a dish washer, so maybe stick to hand washing.

Asteroids do not concern me, Admiral. I want that mug, not excuses
